Recipe

Preheat the oven to 220 °C (430 °F)

1. Wash and cut the fresh figs into pieces about 3 cm wide, then lightly coat them with buckwheat flour to prevent them from sinking to the bottom.

2. Mix the flours together and add a pinch of salt.

3. Combine the flours with the sugar and the eggs.

4. Add the milk, mix well, then pour into a greased baking dish.

5. Add the figs, spreading them evenly.

6. Bake for 20 minutes at 220 °C (430 °F), then lower to 180 °C (355 °F) and bake for another 30 minutes, checking for doneness.
